Hi, I’m Simon, a photographer based in Toronto.
I have a documentary approach to still images, prioritizing the moment. There are times, however, when people need some instruction, and when this is the case, I find the most comfortable environment for spontaneity and genuine interactions. Nothing rigid or unnatural.
This approach applies to all photo shoots, whether it's an engagement, wedding, or a family session. When you look at your pictures, my hope is that you'll be transported back to those moments and feel like I've captured something honest.

Fact 1
In 2017 I married the love of my life, Valerie. She's the one in the striped dress in the photos below. I don't think a day has gone by where we haven't laughed together.

I'm a father of two: one teenager, one middle-schooler. We all still have dinner together every evening and often walk to Riverdale Park to watch and photograph the sunset.

I grew up with a camera collection passed down from my great-grandfather. Although I've been taking pictures forever, I didn't start my photography business until 2011.

I'm most inspired by movies and music. Lately, it's been a lot of black & white Italian cinema, but the filmmaker who started it all is Spike Lee. I watch Do The Right Thing every summer.
