Hi, I’m Simon, a photographer based in Toronto.

I take photos that reflect who you are and how you interact with the world around you.

I have a documentary approach to still images, prioritizing the moment. There are times, however, when people need some instruction, and when this is the case, I find the most comfortable environment for spontaneity and genuine interactions. Nothing rigid or unnatural.

This approach applies to all photo shoots, whether it's an engagement, wedding, or a family session. When you look at your pictures, my hope is that you'll be transported back to those moments and feel like I've captured something honest.

My favourite weddings are usually smaller and more intimate. I love pictures with movement and I love film photography — that’s what I grew up with, so naturally I look to deliver images that are timeless, not dated by editing trends like "light and airy" or "dark and moody."

I love being a husband and father and treasure all of the small everyday moments, which informs my work with clients. I look to capture all the fleeting moments that can often slip by unnoticed, because there are no insignificant interactions.
