Sydney + Alex

Alex and Sydney were married during a time when people were unable to gather. They planned a large celebration but a desire to be married led them to City Hall in late March 2021. I am so glad they invited me along to document. It was cloudy, but mild enough to not be burdened by cumbersome winter clothing. They had their first date at Nathan Phillips Square -- at the exact spot where I photographed them sitting cross-legged intently listening to one another, smiling, and laughing.
